In early 2025, singer Miguel Bosé returned to the stage with his 'Importante Tour' after being absent for almost eight years following health issues that affected his life.

The "Amante Bandido" singer has resumed his career with performances in various cities across Mexico and plans to continue in several locations in Spain and the United States to meet with many of his fans.

However, days before taking to the stage in the European country, the artist revealed in an interview with 'Esquire' magazine the reason that led him to focus on recovering his voice and finding himself.

According to Bosé, returning after so many years has not been an easy path, as he had to learn to forgive and care for the person he was without his profession, since, according to him, for a long time he treated himself in a "savage" manner.

“In life, many of us go through personal hell. There are no flames or demons, but guilt and personal torture occupy everything,” the singer said, referring to the suffering he experienced during his temporary retirement.

However, for the artist, this moment of self-discovery was the beginning of his healing process, which helped him recognize that he was never taught to show his feelings, but rather that he had only "been trained to work."

“I started to break down Miguel,” were the words with which the interpreter described this new facet, highlighting that it took him a while to get rid of all the things he didn't like about that version and then embark on an inner search.

“I dedicated myself to doing something I had never done before in my life, which was loving and caring for myself,” he said during the conversation, recalling the times when betrayals and losses took hold of him.

Bosé also commented that for many years he was more concerned about the well-being of others than his own, which caused the strength he considered inexhaustible to gradually drain away until he was left with nothing to go on.

“I had to distance myself from the world for health reasons,” explained the singer, who had to undergo two spinal surgeries that forced him to learn to walk again and work with specialists to recover his voice.
