Mirreyes and Godínez go to Las Vegas

The legendary Caesars casino Palace , home of films such as “The Hangover?” and “Rain Man,” opened its doors to make the Mexican production “ Mirreyes contra Godínez : Las Vegas” a reality.
The cast, including Daniel Tovar, Diana Bovio, and Regina Blandón, among others, worked quickly in areas such as the lobby and gaming tables, knowing they couldn't stop the normal gaming and betting activity.
The film, which will premiere next August, marks the end of a saga that began in 2019, comprised of two previous feature films, including one made during the pandemic, taking advantage of the Zoom that came into full force.
"They're still the same characters as always, now they're on the verge of losing the company and, let's say, they're the worst businessmen in the world because they can't agree, but that leads them on great adventures," says Tovar.
Going to the so-called city of gambling was a decision by the producers led by Francisco González Compeán (“Amar te duele” and “Contraataque”), who wanted to go all out to finish the story on a grand scale.
Finally, director Chava Cartas shared that he and his team had to work out logistics to avoid interfering with the activities of one of the most important and well-known casinos in the world: “We thought it would be a lot of partying, but it was actually very tiring. We had to be on location from two to four in the morning, get up early because they would only use the pool for four hours, and be on time because they would still separate us from two gaming tables (for scenes), but we didn't have to take our chips with us; it was a hassle. They have a lot of security, but they were very kind in supporting us.”
