Morrissey cancels his Botanical Nights concert 24 hours before its scheduled date.

Given his history of last-minute cancellations, the organizers of Noches del Botánico joked that they wouldn't believe Morrissey would perform at their festival until they saw him with their own eyes. And finally, what some feared has happened: the British artist has canceled his performance at the Madrid event scheduled for this Thursday, June 12.
"The organizers of Noches del Botánico inform that Morrissey's performance, scheduled for next Thursday, June 12, has been canceled due to medical advice," the organizers' statement reads. According to the artist's team, Morrissey is receiving medical treatment for acute sinusitis. As a result, and with great regret, the performance scheduled for tomorrow in Madrid has been canceled."
As there is no possibility of rescheduling the concert within the series' calendar, the cancellation is final. Tickets purchased through the Noches del Botánico website or the El Corte Inglés digital platform will be automatically refunded in the coming days. No further action is required on the part of the purchaser. Those who purchased tickets in person, at El Corte Inglés shopping centers or travel agencies, must go to the same point of sale to request a refund.
The organizers remind everyone that this concert has been removed from all official ticket sales platforms. If you find tickets still available on other channels, we advise against purchasing them, as they may be from unauthorized or fraudulent platforms. For any additional questions, the public can contact the Noches del Botánico help center at this link: https://nsdb.co/ayuda.
"Nights of the Botanic deeply regrets any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and appreciates the understanding of the public and the media," the festival's statement concludes.
