A few minutes ago, the Mexican band Panteón Rococó announced through its social media that due to the current recovery of Dr. Shenka, the band's vocalist, it has decided to postpone and cancel some dates of its 'Sonido Rococó' tour.
"The following presentations will have a change of date, and unfortunately, due to the nature of local fairs and festivals, we will have to cancel our participation," is the message that can be read on the digital platforms.

In addition, the band assured that the singer is fortunately stable, so they hope that after making the necessary arrangements, several of their fans will be able to join them on the rest of their tour.
“Don't be discouraged. This adjustment is to ensure we can enjoy Panteón Rococó with all the strength and passion that characterizes us,” the band added at the end of the message broadcast on the evening of July 4th.

Through their Instagram account, the event organizers shared an official statement confirming that this year the Mexican band will not be able to perform on the scheduled dates due to force majeure.
"Dr. Shenka is an iconic figure in Latin American ska, and we at the Cordillera Festival send him all our energy for a speedy recovery," they stated.
However, at the end of the post, they mentioned that, in light of the last-minute changes, the band has confirmed it will be part of the lineup for the 2026 edition , so details will be revealed in the coming months.

The organizers also explained that they are currently recruiting artists to replace the Mexicans at the 2025 Cordillera Festival , so attendees don't have to change their plans.
"We appreciate the audience's understanding," they added at the end of the statement posted on the event's Instagram stories. While it's not yet known who will replace Panteón Rococó, fans are eagerly awaiting the news.
