President Ayuso visits bullfighter Sergio Rollón in La Paz.

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso , accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and the Interior, Carlos Novillo, visited the young bullfighter Sergio Rollón yesterday morning at the La Paz Hospital. He was seriously injured on July 12 in Valdetorres del Jarama, as part of the competition organized by the Community with the Toro de Lidia Foundation.

Ayuso spoke with Rollón, who suffered a goring that affected his femoral artery and vein. Due to the heavy bleeding, and after being stabilized, he had to be evacuated by helicopter to the La Paz hospital complex, where he underwent further surgery by the medical team supporting the president's visit this Monday.

Last weekend, the young bullfighter overcame a blood clot in his right lung, from which he is recovering.
