Singer Azuquita, creator of Rumbakalao, dies at 47.

Pedro Bermúdez , better known by his stage name, Azuquita , has died at the age of 47 in Palma de Mallorca, where he lived.
The Balearic press was the first to report the death of the Valencian singer, a current member of the Rumba Kings , who rose to prominence in the 1990s during La Ruta del Bakalao with his unique style: Rumbakalao . In it, he covered popular techno songs with rumba-inspired touches, which helped him rise to popularity.
Azuquita rose to fame in 1993, when she was just 17 years old, when she covered Chimo Bayo's Así me gusta a mí with rumba rhythms.
Her discography includes three albums, all released in the mid-90s: Rumbakalao, Escucha que te digo, and Sinelo Kalo. Years later, in the 2000s, Azuquita made her international breakthrough in a collaboration with German artist Matthias Reim. She also stood out for her character and humor in everything she did.
In recent years he has been part of the group Rumba Kings.
