Six bulls from Fermín Bohórquez for this afternoon's bullfight at the Maestranza bullring.

Jerez-born rancher Fermín Bohórquez returns to the Maestranza bullring this afternoon after last Tuesday's bullfight. Today, he is bullfighting on horseback with a trio of bulls including Portuguese Rui Fernandes , Sevillian Diego Ventura , and Navarrese Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza . The event follows Saturday's Victorinada, in which a courageous and dedicated Manuel Escribano stood out, delighting the Maestranza audience with his performance against Victorino Martín's vibrant Mosquetón.

This bullfight is taking a sideways look at the Sevillian sky after the traditional carriage exhibition had to be postponed due to the weather forecast. This decision has allowed the Pagés company to put up the protective canvas and guarantee the condition of the bullring until at least 7:00 p.m. The weather at that time will determine the bullfight, which requires complete safety in the ring for the horses to grip.
