Stranger Things 5 ​​will premiere in three parts: these are the dates on Netflix

Stranger Things' fifth and final season will premiere in three parts: the first will arrive on Netflix on November 26, the second on December 25, and the final on December 31.

The announcement was made by stars Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin, who headlined a nostalgic performance on the stage at Tudum 2025, the streaming platform's live event celebrating its most iconic series and films.

The long-awaited announcement comes three years after the premiere of the previous installment, in which the group of friends faced Vecna, a new threat from the Upside Down that left Hawkins on the brink of collapse.

Now, the series is repeating the premiere model it used for the fourth season in 2022, splitting it into multiple parts. This fifth season, consisting of eight episodes, will feature the main cast, consisting of Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour, as well as new additions, including Jake Connelly, Nell Fisher, Alex Breaux, and Linda Hamilton.

The series is a clear homage to 1980s Hollywood productions; the costumes, photography, and sets are a vivid reflection of what life was like 45 years ago. The series tells the story of a 12-year-old boy named Will Byers, who lives with his mother and brother in a small town, who suddenly disappears one night.

Things get even weirder when a little girl named ' Eleven' appears out of nowhere. The strange thing about this girl is that she has telekinetic powers and practically doesn't speak.

Eleven will join the group of friends who are looking for Will, together they will embark on a mission that they have no idea how dangerous it is, because "The Other Side" exists, an alternate reality that had access to this world through experiments carried out by the United States government and that has a lot to do with all the strange events that are happening in the town.

On August 9, 2022, the series completed its 79th consecutive day in the Top 10 on Netflix, the streaming platform responsible for producing this story. That surpassed The Queen's Gambit's previous record of 78 days, putting Stranger Things in a league of its own.

This series also marked a milestone on the platform with total hours watched. The fourth season held firm in third place with 28.8 million hours watched, bringing the season total to 1.794 billion hours.
