These are the signs for Las Ventas after San Isidro

Every Madrid bullfighter feels a void when San Isidro ends. "What am I doing tomorrow afternoon?" we'll ask ourselves when the sixth Victorino bull is played on June 15th. Fortunately, the following Sunday, the bullfights resume with a lineup of three interesting young bullfighters: Luis David Adame , José Fernando Molina, and Christian Parejo, with bulls from Valdefresno.

That will be on Sunday the 22nd, and the following Thursday, June 26th, the nighttime bullfights will begin. The Cénate Las Ventas competition offers a fusion of the best Madrid cuisine alongside the bullfights, in which five youngsters will make their debut at the Monumental. The return of interesting names will include Fabio Jiménez, El Mene , and Tomás Bastos—a team that performed at a high level this San Isidro with a Conde de Mayalde bullfight—Mariscal Ruiz—who suffered a hand injury during his debut in this arena, and which continues to suffer—Bruno Aloi, and Javier Zulueta, in what could be his farewell as a novillero at this arena, as he will be taking the alternative bull next San Miguel in his native Seville.

- Thursday, July 3. Bulls from Sagrario Moreno for Fabio Jiménez, Bruno Aloi, and Pedro Luis (presentation).

- Thursday, July 10. Bulls from Los Chospes for Nino Julián (presentation), Mariscal Ruiz and Juan Alberto Torrijos (presentation).

- Thursday, July 17. Bulls from the Casa de los Toreros for Sergio Sánchez, El Mene, and Javier Zulueta.

The grand finale will be on Thursday, July 24 , with young bulls from Guadaira.
