Imagination can be a refuge, and theater can be a tool for building a more hopeful reality. Under this premise, the Jalisco Ministry of Culture launched Teatro Vivo desde el Barrio (Live Theater from the Neighborhood), a call to action that seeks to promote community performances aimed at children, adolescents, and young adults in vulnerable neighborhoods in the municipalities of Chapala, Lagos de Moreno, Zapotlán el Grande, Encarnación de Díaz, Cabo Corrientes, and Mezquitic.
