This holiday weekend is the 'Los Insaciables' gastronomic festival in Bogotá
From November 1st to 3rd , the 'Los Insaciables' Festival will be held at the Compensar facilities on Avenida 68, an event that in its eighth edition focuses on the richness of traditional and popular Colombian cuisine.
Entry to the event will be free.
The festival has been conceived as a tribute to "neighborhood flavors" and culinary tradition, which, according to its organizers, represents a point of social and cultural unity in the country.

The event will feature the participation of more than 20 restaurants offering a wide selection of national cuisine.
The advertised offerings include traditional dishes such as lechona, picadas, ajiaco, sancochos, and desserts such as strawberries with cream and crepes.
One of the main attractions being promoted is the preparation of a 25-meter-long ripe plantain , which will be presented filled with guava paste and cheese. Additionally, options such as Colombian barrel-roasted cuts of meat and llanero-style choripán will be included.

The festival will also feature a Beer Garden area and offer live music entertainment. As part of its social integration initiative, traditional Colombian games such as sack races, spoon races, and blind man's bluff have been included.
The Origin of the Festival 'Los Insaciables' is defined by its creators as a collective of friends dedicated to promoting Colombian street food and traditional cuisine.
Their mission is to connect consumers with authentic gastronomic experiences and provide support to entrepreneurs in the sector to showcase their products and stories.
