A film presented this past Wednesday at the Venice Film Festival garnered a standing ovation of up to 23 minutes, becoming one of the most talked-about and media-focused screenings of the Mostra. Directed by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania , previously known for her Oscar-nominated film The Four Daughters , her new film, Hind's Voice , recreates the true story of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Palestinian girl trapped in a vehicle in Gaza in January 2024.
