Who's bullfighting today, Sunday the 25th, at the San Isidro Fair in Madrid: lineup, schedule, and where to watch for free on TV and online
We have a grueling day ahead of us, bringing together some of the greatest figures in bullfighting at the Las Ventas Monumental Plaza in Madrid. The lucky ones will be able to witness a series that has brought more than one fan to their feet. The celebrations are offering a packed program that is relentless in its quest to deliver the best bullfighting spectacle this San Isidro 2025.
Bullfighters will be able to enjoy 21 bullfights, 3 novilladas with picadors, and 2 bullfights with rejones. The event will take place in Madrid's Las Ventas Monumental Plaza, which was a huge success last year. Not surprisingly, this is one of the most important bullfighting festivals in our country, which will run until mid-June.
A total of 55 performers will be present: 43 matadors, 5 rejoneadores (bullfighters on horseback), and 7 novilleros (bullfighters with picadors). In terms of livestock, 23 ranches have been announced, some of them with two commitments, representing a total of eight different breeds. According to the Union of Bull Breeders of Fighting Bulls, cultural bullfighting events contribute 140 million euros annually to the state in VAT. The San Isidro Fair represents approximately 70 million euros for the regional economy each season. And the truth is that there are increasingly more young audiences at the bullfights.
We look forward to memorable moments with experienced, sharp, and courageous bullfighters. This Sunday, May 25th, at 7:00 PM , we'll have the Fuente Ymbro bulls for Curro Díaz, Román, and Diego San Román (to be confirmed). It's a day that looks promising.
