A 24-year-old woman from the Netherlands, identified on social media as Kimia Awazi, underwent a cheap cosmetic treatment to remove lip fillers , but according to her, the substance applied “left her looking like a Bratz doll.”

According to information revealed on digital platforms and some local media, the woman began regularly injecting hyaluronic acid into her nose and mouth since she was a teenager.

However, some time ago he noticed that the compound was spreading to other areas of his face, causing problems when speaking and preventing him from performing his job as a marketing assistant normally.

In view of this, Kimia decided to seek professional help to undergo a dissolution procedure, in which a specialist gave her an enzyme , which in most cases produces swelling that makes the lips look fuller than usual.

In March 2024, the young woman underwent the procedure and the doctor told her that she would experience mild swelling in her mouth for several days , which was completely normal, so there was no reason to worry.

As soon as the patient left the clinic, her lips began to swell uncontrollably due to a severe allergic reaction caused by the hyaluronidase she had been injected with minutes earlier.

According to the marketing assistant, the specialist applied three milliliters of solvent instead of one , which caused her body to resist the excess substance, resulting in the strange appearance.

On social media, the woman confessed that at first the situation seemed funny, but over time it became a terrifying experience, as she felt like her mouth was going to explode at any moment.

Despite Kimia's concerns, the allergic reaction lasted about 24 hours , during which she was unable to speak, eat, or drink normally. In response, the young woman commented in a post that "the cheapest option isn't always the best."

Eventually, the swelling disappeared on its own without the need to go to the emergency room or another hospital, but months later the woman had her lips filled again, claiming that she now knows her limits.
