Aerolíneas Argentinas exceeded 1.2 million passengers in winter and Mendoza reached the top of the list of destinations.

The state-owned airline confirmed that 965,000 people traveled within the country, while the rest opted for international destinations. Hotel occupancy also far exceeded expectations.
With full flights and strong demand in key tourist destinations, Aerolíneas Argentinas closed a successful winter season with more than 1.2 million passengers. Mendoza was among the most popular destinations in the country , along with Bariloche and Córdoba, in a ranking that includes international destinations.
The company emphasized that the figures are comparable to the traffic recorded during the winter of 2024 and noted that occupancy far exceeded expectations. In total, 1,262,000 people traveled with the company across its entire network: 965,000 within the country and 298,000 to international destinations.

In the destination rankings, Bariloche took first place, while Córdoba came in second. Mendoza, meanwhile, came in third, especially thanks to Las Leñas, Latin America's number one ski resort and the ideal place to enjoy the winter season.
Neuquén, Ushuaia, Iguazú, Salta, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Tucumán, and Comodoro Rivadavia completed the ranking. These destinations accounted for 35% of the total passengers transported. The average load factor reached 84%, with peaks above 95% in typical winter destinations.
Regarding international destinations, Punta Cana experienced a 77% increase, while Cancún registered an 11% increase. Meanwhile, Miami, Madrid, and Rome maintained similar figures to last year.
For this season, Aerolíneas has expanded its offering with more than 330 daily flights and increased frequencies to key destinations such as Bariloche, Córdoba, Mendoza, San Martín de los Andes, and others . It has also strengthened its flights from Brazil to snow destinations.
"In line with its productivity and operational efficiency policies, the company adjusted seat availability to align with period projections. This strategy allowed it to sustain the number of passengers transported more efficiently, achieving higher occupancy rates, especially in vacation destinations," the company stated.
