Are you over 18? Here's how you can apply for the 1,449 euros per month Social Security offers for women.

In 2020, the Minimum Living Income (IMV) was launched, a benefit aimed at preventing the risk of poverty and social exclusion among people who live alone or in a cohabiting unit and lack the basic financial resources to cover their basic needs.
Within this aid, from which more than two million people have benefited, according to Social Security data, a specific case is contemplated for women over 18 years of age.
Specifically, "adult women who are victims of gender-based violence or victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation" will be eligible to apply for this benefit, as specified by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration in the beneficiary category.
The amount of aid can reach a maximum of 1,449.39 euros per month in the case of a household consisting of one adult and four or more minors , two adults and three or more minors, or three adults and two or more minors, or four adults and one minor.
In the case of an individual beneficiary , the amount will be €658.81 per month , although the figure may increase by 22% if the recipient has a disability of 65% or more. The other cases considered are as follows:
- 856.46 euros for a household consisting of one adult and one minor, or two adults.

The Minimum Living Income can be applied for online or in person. If you choose the online option, you'll have to answer a series of questions that will act as a simulation and tell you whether or not you qualify for the benefit.
If you choose in-person, you will need to fill out a form , as well as submit proof of income and other necessary documentation.
