Asonahores: Puntacana Group will contribute to tourism in Cabo Rojo

The Dominican Republic Hotel and Tourism Association ( Asonahores ) stated this Tuesday that the selection of the Puntacana Group as a minority partner of the Dominican State in the Cabo Rojo Consortium will favor the tourism development of Pedernales.

Its executive vice president, Aguie Lendor, emphasized that the Puntacana Group 's expertise and vision , spanning more than five decades in the industry, will ensure the success and consolidation of this emerging tourism project.

" Grupo Puntacana has demonstrated that, in 50 years, it has a solid track record in the tourism sector , that it has invested in previously unknown locations and developed them in a very interesting way, developing a strong brand," Lendor asserted.

He maintained that the joint work of the public and private sectors "is the key to success " in every area of national development, which can be seen in tourism , free trade zones, and industry.

"In Cabo Rojo , we have the same expectation that this is a good partnership and that the union between the private and public sectors, the experience of the private sector , and the support provided by the public sector will yield good results," he said.
