If the tariff increase from 25 to 30 percent for products not covered by the USMCA, applied to Mexican imports from the U.S., is implemented, the country would face an average tariff of 13.7 percent starting in August, up from the current 11.9 percent, according to estimates from Banamex's Economic Studies department.
