Black Week at Mendoza wholesalers: how to take advantage of discounts and which stores are participating

Black Week Wholesale 2025 arrives with a proposal designed for those looking to save money by purchasing in bulk. This initiative, organized by the Argentine Chamber of Distributors and Wholesale Self-Service Retailers (CADAM) , aims to strengthen ties with industries and promote mass consumption, benefiting both manufacturers and end consumers.

" The wholesalers who are associated with the chamber of wholesalers, CADAM, are the ones who organized Black Week ," commented Rubén David , owner of Oscar David in Mendoza.

" With regard to products, each wholesaler places what they want. Being national, we have more than 200 points of sale throughout the country. The same products are sold in Ushuaia, Jujuy, Mendoza, or San Juan. Each wholesaler places their products according to their region."

Black Week Wholesale 2025 will take place from Monday 19th to Sunday 25th May , surpassing last year's participation with over 190 participating businesses, compared to 150 in 2024. During this week, wholesale supermarkets will offer discounts of up to 40% on a variety of essential products for home and business.

Among the products with the biggest discounts are non-perishable foods , alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages , cleaning supplies , and personal hygiene products . The promotions will be available both in physical stores and online, making these benefits accessible to all consumers.

Rubén David , owner of Oscar David in Mendoza, commented that his company has decided to extend the Black Week sales until May 31, as they did last year. " It started this morning, and all the Black Week products are marked with Black Week signs. We've been working hard to eliminate profits, to try to revive consumption ," David explained.

The businessman also highlighted the importance of these types of initiatives to stem the decline in sales experienced this year: " We're doing this to recover sales volume, try to make the consumer's money go as far as possible, and start looking optimistically toward the second half of the year ."

Furthermore, each wholesaler has its own financing options and card agreements. " There's no general agreement. I, for example, have Plan Z with an Naranja card ," David added, emphasizing that each establishment defines its own payment policies to make shopping easier for its customers.
