Bogotá opens 203 vacancies for diverse profiles amid the reactivation of formal employment.

With the goal of continuing to boost the labor market in the capital and expanding formal employment opportunities, the District Secretariat of Economic Development announced this week the opening of 203 job openings in partnership with 12 private-sector companies.

The job offers are aimed at people with different educational levels and will be available until Friday, July 5, through the Public Employment Service platform.

This call is part of the Talent Capital strategy, a District initiative that seeks to connect citizens with real employment opportunities and strengthen productivity through collaboration with the business sector.

"Among the most sought-after profiles are accounting assistants, radiologists, call center consultants, developers, digital marketing leaders, mechanical technicians, forklift and tower crane operators, accountants, and nursing assistants, among others," the District stated.

The Deputy Director of Employment and Training at the Ministry of Economic Development, Bibiana Quiroga, explained that the strategy is based on creating effective partnerships with companies that require human talent and are willing to offer formal and decent working conditions.

" Working with the business sector is essential to boosting employment in Bogotá. This collaboration allows us to generate real job opportunities, foster innovation, improve productivity, and advance the formalization of labor," he said.

Those interested in applying should visit www.serviciodeempleo.gov.co, register, complete their resume, and apply for available positions. The process is entirely online, making it easy for people from anywhere in the city to access the application.

However, for those who require support, the District offers in-person assistance through the District Employment Agency, located at Carrera 13 #27-00, Unit 12, in downtown Bogotá. There, citizens can receive personalized guidance on registering their profile, assistance with improving their resume, advice on navigating through selection processes, and even training in soft skills such as assertive communication, teamwork, and leadership.

"One of the highlights of the strategy is that if a person's profile matches the requirements of a vacancy, their resume is sent directly to the corresponding company, shortening the selection process and increasing the chances of successful job placement," they added.

The Talento Capital strategy also serves as an information channel for other resources available to job seekers in Bogotá. Through the "Employment in Bogotá" WhatsApp channel, users can receive notifications about new job openings, interview tips, access to free certified courses, and guides for creating effective resumes.

Other offers

In parallel, the program is linked to other lines of action led by the SDDE, such as Bogotá Corazón Productivo, which seeks to strengthen local productive clusters and offer marketing opportunities to MSMEs, and Escuela Bogotá Trabaja, which provides job training with a focus on 21st-century skills.

These integrated initiatives are part of the territorial economic development approach adopted by the district administration, which seeks to improve employability, close training gaps, promote entrepreneurship, and strengthen the relationship between human talent and the needs of the productive sector.

“We want the people of Bogotá to know that there are opportunities. We will continue to strengthen this strategy with new job openings, training programs, and business support, because we believe in local talent and its ability to transform the city,” Quiroga concluded.
