Extremadura sets its sights on Poland to strengthen trade ties

The Secretary General of Economy, Business, and Trade of the Regional Government of Extremadura, Víctor Píriz, participated today in Warsaw in an institutional and business meeting organized as part of a direct trade mission to Poland, promoted by the Regional Government of Extremadura and the Chamber of Commerce of Cáceres.

This action is the result of the business event held on April 4 at the headquarters of the Cáceres Chamber of Commerce, where fifty Extremadura companies learned firsthand about the business opportunities offered by the Polish market , thanks to the collaboration of the Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce and various institutional representatives from the Central European country.

The trade mission, which began on May 10 and runs until tomorrow, aims to strengthen commercial ties between the two territories, facilitate the internationalization of Extremadura's business community, and boost Extremadura's position as a destination for foreign investment.

Píriz presented the main economic incentives, the attractions of the Extremadura region, and the support service provided by the regional government through Invest in Extremadura to various business leaders and institutions. Furthermore, the Secretary General of Economy, Employment, and Trade held a working meeting with Polish institutional and political representatives to consolidate strategic economic alliances and explore future lines of bilateral collaboration.

On behalf of the Cáceres Chamber of Commerce, the delegation was led by its secretary general, Raúl Iglesias, who accompanied the participating Extremadura companies to the business meetings scheduled with Polish companies.

This initiative is part of the Extremadura Regional Government's internationalization and investment attraction strategy , which seeks to diversify markets, strengthen the foreign presence of regional companies, and generate new opportunities for economic growth and employment.
