Government leaves prices of main fuels unchanged

The price of major fuels for the week of July 5-11 will remain unchanged, and four others will see reductions of between 4.90 and 5.91 pesos per gallon, Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade Ramón Pérez Fermín announced this Friday.

Premium gasoline will be sold at 290.10 pesos and regular gasoline at 272.50 pesos per gallon, both remaining unchanged , while liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will be sold at 137.20 pesos, after experiencing an increase of 4.60 pesos per gallon last week.

Likewise, there will be no price increases for either type of diesel , with premium price being 242.10 pesos and regular price being 224.80 pesos.

Natural gas also remains unchanged at 43.97 pesos per cubic meter.

Pérez Fermín explained that the government will assume a fiscal sacrifice of 123 million pesos to avoid price increases for petroleum products.

Among the fuels that will be reduced in price are Avtur , which will be sold at 186.80 pesos, a decrease of 5.91 pesos per gallon, and kerosene , which will be offered at 217.50 pesos, a decrease of 4.90 pesos.

Likewise, fuel oil will be sold at 151.03 pesos per gallon, a decrease of 5.46 pesos, and 1% fuel oil will be offered to the public at 162.25 pesos, a decrease of 5.53 pesos.
