Why Nuevo León, which competes with Jalisco in every economic indicator, has the highest average salary for a professional in the country: 20,882 pesos per month.

And in second place is Mexico City (20,721 pesos per month), but Jalisco, the fourth-largest national economy, is in 17th place.

Professionals are paid better in Tabasco, Colima, Yucatán, Sinaloa, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, Baja California, etc.
