This initiative is not intended to be a permanent solution, but rather a temporary bridge that facilitates the transition to a new job opportunity . Unlike other subsidies, the family unit does not need to declare its income.

The assessment focuses solely on the applicant's individual income. This criterion ensures that assistance is directed to those who are truly in financial need.

The SEPE requires applicants to maintain a proactive attitude in their job search. This requires being registered as a job seeker with the Public Employment Service of their autonomous community and, in addition, signing the Declaration of Active Job Search (BAE) . Applicants must commit to participating in the job placement initiatives proposed by the SEPE.

Regarding employment history, it is required to have contributed to Social Security for a minimum of 15 years , of which at least two years must have been within the last fifteen years.

The application for this aid must be submitted within six months of the date the contributory unemployment benefit was exhausted . Meeting all these conditions is essential to qualify for this new aid.
