Who must file a tax return between August 19 and 22, based on their ID number?

On August 12, the tax return filing season officially began for individuals in Colombia.

This Tuesday, August 19th (Monday is a holiday), the second week of filing deadlines will begin for taxpayers whose ID numbers end between 08 and 16 .
Please note that, according to the DIAN, the specific filing dates depend on the last two digits of the taxpayer's NIT.

Thus, the due dates for this week are distributed as follows:
Tuesday 19th: taxpayers with ID numbers 08 and 10. Wednesday 20th: taxpayers with ID numbers 11 and 12. Thursday 21st: taxpayers with ID numbers 13 and 14. Friday 22nd: taxpayers with ID numbers 15 and 16.
Remember that those who have gross income equal to or greater than 1,400 UVT ($65,891,000), assets exceeding 4,500 UVT ($211,793,000), or banking transactions, purchases, consumption, or credit card use that exceed the threshold of 1,400 UVT are required to file a tax return.
Those who were responsible for VAT as of December 2024 must also declare.

Don't forget that between August 12 and August 29, 2025 , individuals whose tax identification numbers end in numbers 01 through 26 must file their income tax return for the 2024 tax year.
