Every week, ABC Salud offers a weekly ranking of the best medical professionals, chosen by their peers, according to the Healthcare Reputation Monitor (MRS) compiled by Merco, to which this newspaper has had exclusive access.

The MRS has been evaluating the reputation of key players in the Spanish healthcare system ( best public and private hospitals , services, pharmaceutical companies, etc.) for over 10 years. This time, it completes the report with the second edition of its ranking of the best doctors .

Within the same MRS questionnaire, the specialists themselves (6,060 doctors) and more than 100 pharmaceutical company managers, are the ones who choose their colleagues who, in their opinion, are the best healthcare professionals in 32 medical specialties .

The monitoring and verification of its development process and results are subject to independent review by KPMG, in accordance with the ISAE 3000 standard, which publishes its opinion for each edition. All weighting criteria are public. Due to its ethical values ​​and methodology, it is the benchmark ranking for physicians and scientific societies.
