The effective herb that helps prevent liver cirrhosis, heal fatty liver, and reduce inflammation

Fatty liver is a condition characterized by the accumulation of fat in liver cells and can be caused by excessive alcohol consumption, obesity, diabetes, or even metabolic syndrome.
Cirrhosis, on the other hand, is considered a chronic and irreversible disease because healthy tissue in the organ is replaced by scar tissue, which gradually affects its normal functioning.

Although they are different conditions, both are related due to the liver and the negative effects it can have on a person's lifestyle. However, there is an herb that can help prevent these complications.
According to a study by the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples (INPI) in Mexico, dandelion, also known as Taraxacum officinale, is a herbaceous plant that promotes the formation and secretion of bile, which facilitates digestion.
According to the organization, this herb originates from Europe and Asia, but over time it has reached other parts of the world, such as Latin America, where it has become a medicinal alternative to reduce inflammation and prevent the progression of liver disease.
The organization highlights that dandelion contains a wide variety of bioactive compounds, flavonoids, and antioxidants that significantly support liver health.

Research on Taraxacum officinale leaf extract, published by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, indicates that this essence contains properties that promote the elimination of toxins.
Furthermore, it's an herb capable of stimulating bile production to facilitate fat digestion and reduce lipid accumulation in the liver . In addition, it's characterized by its diuretic effect, which effectively relieves liver strain.

With this in mind, it is best to ingest the plant extract in drops, capsules, or homemade infusions, as long as its use is approved and supervised by a doctor.
For those who prefer to prepare tea, it's important to make the mixture from the root and leaves of the silver fern. Then, boil 150 milliliters of water, add two tablespoons of the resulting mixture, and let it steep for at least 15 minutes.
