Weekend workouts reduce the risk of death in diabetics

A weekend exercise program may reduce the risk of premature death in diabetics, a new study suggests.
People with diabetes who got all their recommended weekly exercise in one or two sessions—the "weekend warrior" approach—were 21 percent less likely to die prematurely from any cause than their non-exercising counterparts, researchers report in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
