Chris Hemsworth’s Marvelous Moments with His Kids Prove He’s Superdad
At the center of Chris Hemsworth's universe? His family.
Who assembled for a special night out earlier this summer at the premiere of his National Geographic docuseries Limitless in London. By Chris' side for the big night was wife Elsa Pataky and two of their three kids, 11-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan. (Daughter India Rose, 13, stayed back.)
And they weren’t the only Hemsworths in attendance. The Thor star’s parents Craig and Leonie Hemsworth were also there as was his brother Liam Hemsworth, who brought along his girlfriend Gabriella Brooks.
It's these marvelous outings and this cherished family time that Chris—turning 42 Aug. 11—hopes his kids remember."My dream would be for them to talk about me as a parent one day and go, 'He was always there,'" he told Time+Tide Watches in 2017. "'He played with us. He was present. He listened. He paid attention.'"
Because while the Avengers alum has landed many roles throughout his career, the one closest to his heart is dad.
"There’s times when I’ve thought, 'Wow, because having kids is more important to me, some of my roles have suffered,'" he told GQ Australia in 2020. "There’s definitely a couple of films I could’ve put way more energy into but I was like, 'No, I’d rather be with my kids.'"
And while millions of fans have seen his superpowers onscreen, it’s his nearest and dearest who get to see the ones he has as a superdad.
"I think I’m fun with kids. I think I’m creative," Chris told Access Hollywood in 2022. "They’re all very active kids and big vivid imaginations and so do I. So we get outside and explore and play whatever we want. It’s what it’s about."
