A man who threatened President Javier Milei on social media was arrested in Berazategui.

A 37-year-old man who threatened President Javier Milei on social media was arrested Thursday at his home in the Berazategui district, following an investigation by the City Police.
This man had reportedly made threats against the President on the social network X.
From there, agents from the Illicit Technological Conduct Division tracked him down and located him in a home at 6900 Vergara Street in Berazategui.
At the home, the police seized a cell phone, two CPUs, and a laptop.

The man was detained as a reported offender for the crime of "public intimidation" and the case is being handled by the Quilmes Federal Criminal and Correctional Court, headed by Dr. Luis Armella, and the 12th Federal Criminal and Correctional Court, headed by Dr. Ariel Lijo.
This isn't the first arrest for intimidating Milei. In fact, last week, during the march in support of Cristina Kirchner, a 39-year-old Kirchnerite activist was arrested by the Airport Police (PSA) for threatening to kill the President while he was giving an interview on the La Nación+ channel.
"We're going to kill Milei," the suspect said from a van while broadcasting live on the news channel. He also insulted the President several times and, before leaving, shouted, "You sell out, son of a bitch."

The Federal Criminal and Correctional Court Number 2 of Morón, headed by Dr. Jorge Rodríguez, intervened here and ordered the arrest and transfer of the protester, who has a history of robbery, threats, and resisting arrest.
Another arrest for threats against Milei occurred in January 2024. At that time, the Federal Police arrested a 48-year-old man in the town of Rafael Castillo, La Matanza, for making intimidating calls to the President.
He is 48 years old and is also said to have made bomb threats against official buildings.
It was later discovered that this man had also made bomb threats against government buildings.
Meanwhile, a man was also arrested this Thursday by the Federal Police for threatening to kill the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich.
The case began on March 20 following a complaint filed by the Ministry of Security, and a Molotov cocktail was found during the search.
Among the messages were phrases like: "Doesn't it hurt to be such a fascist? People like you deserve to die before we hire a hitman on the Deep Web to send you here, you dear little piece of trash" and "I'm going to kill you now. One day you'll get into Congress, you son of a bitch. Before you start tightening your belts again and beating up retirees like you did in 2001."
