After the victory, Javier Milei sought to calm the Libertarian internal conflict with a post on X

"The Iron Triangle!!! Long live freedom, damn it!!! The end," tweeted Javier Milei at 8:02 PM, after learning of the Libertarian victory in the Buenos Aires City elections, along with a photo showing him flanked by his sister Karina and advisor Santiago Caputo. The message expressed his joy at the electoral victory but also sought to signal a general tone to his own troops in order to appease the Libertarian internal conflict.
Tensions between the presidential secretary's organization and the all-round advisor's electoral bid, embodied in the "Forces of Heaven" group, have been growing in recent months and became visible after the LLA's defeat in the Santa Fe elections. They were also somewhat played out at Manuel Adorni's campaign closing event held last Wednesday in Mitre Park: the purple flags of Karina's official organization stood out from the purple, Roman-style ones carried by the group that has El Gordo Dan as its leader.
In this context, Milei's message on the social network X attempted to demonstrate that all parts of the LLA are necessary to guarantee a significant electoral victory, as the national ruling party assesses, which was the one held this Sunday in the City. "She said this: don't bother them with the petty internal issues. Both Karina and Santiago are necessary to play this game," translated a ruling party leader.
Just after 8:30 p.m., Milei again demonstrated the same strategy, this time from the stage. He looked exultant. "Besides, this triumph wouldn't have been possible without those giants of the 'iron triangle': Santiago Caputo and the great architect, 'El Jefe', Karina Milei," he remarked.
Inside the first-floor hall where the stage for the victory was set up, the LLA "gangs" each took their own stand. Sebastián Pareja, the Karinista leader who heads the party at the Buenos Aires level, was joined by leaders from his camp.
Meanwhile, Gordo Dan, provincial deputy Agustín Romo, who wants to run for a national candidacy in October, along with other members of the so-called "Banda de San Miguel," such as the Secretary of Worship and Civilization, Nahuel Sotelo, and deputy Santiago Santurio, posed for a selfie that they shared on their social media.
"I don't think this is AI. TMAP. Hugs," Sotelo posted, echoing Caputo's slogan and sarcastically questioning the PRO's accusation of "digital fraud" for the digitally generated video that showed a "defeated" Mauricio Macri on Saturday night.
