Botanical Garden: Government presents details of the road project

This Wednesday, the Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza , will present all the details of the infrastructure project being carried out in the vicinity of the National Botanical Garden .

The plan presentation takes place on-site with the participation of the institutions responsible for the project, specialized technicians, and community representatives.

Amid concerns that the Botanical Garden could be impacted by his administration's expansion of República de Colombia Avenue, President Luis Abinader guaranteed that " it will not be touched ."

"They're protesting something they don't know about. Perhaps the opposition is protesting what they planned to do, and I'm telling you today that what will be announced on Wednesday, and what was always planned, is that the Botanical Garden will not be touched," the president stated.

Previously, Paliza explained that the intervention responds to an urgent need in the city: to alleviate traffic in one of the most congested areas of the National District.
