Day of Dignity: Máximo Kirchner celebrated the July 18th mobilization and criticized Patricia Bullrich.

National Representative Máximo Kirchner led the Flag Day mobilization in Lezama Park and spoke about the massive June 18 demonstration in Plaza de Mayo in support of former President Cristina Kirchner . The legislator described the demonstration as an "expression of dignity" in the face of the " attempted political ban " against his mother.

" From now on, June 18th will be the Day of Dignity for a people who do not remain silent when they are targeted and their leaders proscribed ," she emphasized to Peronist activists in Lezama Park. While she did not mention the Supreme Court ruling upholding the two-time president's six-year prison sentence in the Vialidad case, she insisted on Peronism's need for "organization and discipline" in the face of "judicial persecution of its leaders."

Furthermore, following the former president's lead, he criticized Security MinisterPatricia Bullrich for the security operation conducted by the Federal Police at 1,111 San José Street in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Constitución, where Cristina Kirchner is serving her house arrest. The La Cámpora leader accused the official of "trying to put on a show to gain prominence."

" She put on a new show to gain some of the limelight that the votes never gave her. As the former president would say: 'You can defend any kind of ideas, but what will never change is your inclination toward violence,' " recalled the Union for the Homeland deputy.

To close his brief speech, Máximo Kirchner highlighted the call for the June 18th mobilizations and recalled his mother's words of gratitude to the activists. "All of this is less bad when you raise your voices, greet her, and honk your horn when you pass by her house. And everything will be better when the people can organize and form a political majority to recover the path we left behind in December 2015," he concluded.
