Son of former governor of Aguascalientes dies in tragic accident

On the afternoon of Friday, August 8, the tranquility of Aguascalientes was shattered by news that shook the state. Luis Armando Reynoso López, son of former PAN governor Luis Armando Reynoso Femat, lost his life along with his fiancée, Paulina Ibarra, in a tragic car accident.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred around 4:49 p.m. at kilometer 85 of Federal Highway 45, near the municipality of Encarnación de Díaz, Jalisco. The vehicle they were traveling in left the asphalt and rolled over several times.
The car was driven by its chauffeur, Miguel González, who was seriously injured and rushed to Hidalgo Hospital, where his condition is reported to be critical.
Aguascalientes Governor Tere Jiménez expressed on social media:
"I share the sorrow felt by the family of former Governor Luis Armando Reynoso Femat over the emotional death of his son and the young María Paulina Ibarra."
Members of the National Guard and firefighters from the Encarnación de Díaz Civil Protection Coordination responded to the scene to carry out rescue operations and cordon off the area.
Luis Armando Reynoso Femat governed Aguascalientes from 2004 to 2010, promoting infrastructure and economic development projects. His last name has been linked to the state's political and business life, which has made the news have a strong impact on public opinion.
