The left was divided in the Province and del Caño will be a candidate in the third section.

The Left will be divided in the Province of Buenos Aires. The Left Front-Unity (FITU) presented former national representatives Nicolás del Caño and Romina Del Plá. The New MAS will have its own list.
Del Caño will head the list for the Third, Del Plá for the First, and Néstor Pitrola, of the Workers' Party, will also be on the list. Meanwhile, La Plata physician Laura Cano will compete in the Eighth section, and renowned Mar del Plata leader Alejandro Martínez will compete in the Fifth section.
"We are the ones who are confronting Milei to defeat him, to end this war waged against workers, women, and youth. We are also the ones who denounce the complicity of the trade unions with the national and provincial governments, which has kept them in a criminal paralysis while the government advances with labor reform and an unprecedented attack on workers," Del Plá emphasized.
"Axel Kicillof says his government is a 'shield' against the austerity measures, but more than 1.5 million families in the province have housing problems, layoffs are increasing, schools don't have stoves and sometimes not even gas, hospitals are collapsing, and salaries are so low that homes are left vacant," Del Caño stated.
The Nuevo Más (New MAS) presents "a new generation of leaders" from the left. In the third electoral section, the list will be headed by sociologist and Nuevo MAS leader Juan Cruz Ramat and María Paz Álvarez, leader of the anti-capitalist youth movement ¡Ya Basta! (Enough is Enough).
"The massive drop in wages can't be tolerated any longer, and that's why one of the most pressing demands among broad sectors of workers is for wage increases, as is the case with residents of the province of Buenos Aires who are demanding a salary of 2 million," emphasized Manuela Castañeira, the main representative of the group.
