Actress and former beauty queen Paola Turbay Gómez shared a heartfelt message on social media addressed to her cousin, Senator and presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay, accompanied by a previously unreleased video that he had recently sent her.

The audiovisual material was recorded during a campaign event for Uribe Turbay in northern Bogotá, as a presidential candidate.
In the recording, the politician appears accompanied by a boy named Santiago, who approached him to ask if he was the renowned actress's cousin. When he confirmed his opinion, the boy expressed his admiration for her, which motivated Uribe to record a joint message.
“Hi, I'm here with Santiago. I was on the ninth floor handing out flyers and stickers, and he approached me to ask if I was Paola's cousin. He told me he's a big fan of yours and wants to send you a message,” Uribe says in the video , before the boy greeted Paola Turbay and wished her the best.

Along with the video, the actress posted a message of encouragement, highlighting her cousin's human qualities:
" Always so attentive and loving to anyone he crossed paths with. Always ready to listen. Those who didn't know Miguel now know him, and they've surely been surprised to discover he's one of the most noble human beings alive," she said.
In the same message, Paola Turbay took the opportunity to send strength and express her support to Miguel Uribe, concluding with a call for hope:
"Miguel continues fighting. Meanwhile, we continue praying that your doctors continue to work with mastery and precision," wrote Miss Colombia 1991.
Meanwhile, the Fundación Santa Fe clinic in Bogotá, where Uribe Turbay has been hospitalized since the night of June 7, announced that no further statements would be issued until further information is received other than what has been provided so far, which is "extremely serious."
