Video of the moment a SAE official shouted and insulted a Ministry of Education worker: 'You have no idea.'

A tense meeting between the Special Assets Society (SAE) and the Ministry of National Education ended in scandal after the SAE's southern territorial director, Felipe Tascón, seriously insulted a ministry official.

The incident, which sparked outrage on social media and highlighted the deep disagreements between the two entities, occurred during a technical meeting discussing the future of the Colombian Center for Professional Studies Foundation (Fcecep) in Cali.

According to the information revealed, the meeting was held to address the critical financial and administrative situation of the Fcecep , an institution that has been liquidated by the SAE due to serious irregularities. The foundation, seized for its ties to drug trafficker Juan Carlos Rodríguez Abadía, alias Chupeta, contains assets exceeding 7 billion pesos , in addition to failure to fulfill its labor and contractual obligations.

The discussion escalated when a Ministry of Education official, whose name is currently unknown, criticized Tascón for its illicit crop substitution policy, calling it a "failure."

In response, the director of the SAE , who seemed agitated, interrupted the technical meeting and, addressing the official , said: "You're a complete shit-eater, you don't have a clue about this." After this statement, Felipe Tascón got up from the table and left, leaving the meeting without an agreement.

While the SAE has insisted on the need to liquidate the Fcecep, the Ministry of Education, through its minister, Daniel Rojas, has requested that this decision be reversed. Rojas, who stated he would travel to Cali to meet with the educational community, has expressed concern for the future of the 600 affected students and has raised the possibility of a rescue plan.

This incident highlighted the conflict between the two entities. It also revealed the supposed complexity of the Fcecep situation and the difficult task of reconciling the defense of public assets , which is the SAE's mandate, with the guarantee of the right to education, which is the Ministry's mission.

Tascón's controversial statement has added new tension to an already complex conflict , which must now be better managed to prevent the clash of political positions from affecting the academic community.
