Born in Barcelona, Spain, as head of communications for Alcocer, she managed to "shape" the current first lady's image, transforming her from a discreet companion into an influencer who toured the country dancing, visiting farmers, and starring in fashion shows. Political communications experts praise this change and its influence on the candidate's acceptance.
After overseeing the presidential inauguration ceremony, Ferrer was appointed head of the Presidential Council for Children and Adolescents. However, on December 30, 2022, the internal restructuring of the Administrative Department of the Presidency (Dapre) eliminated this office to make way for the Presidential Council for National Reconciliation, whose leadership was nonetheless handed over to Ferrer on January 20, 2023.
According to the decree issued by the Administrative Department of Civil Service, Ferrer was "presidential advisor 1775," which represented a monthly salary of $15,174,197 pesos.

Although there was a moment when the relationship between Alcocer and Ferrer broke down. The first steps that paved the way for his departure were his change of office: from the Casa de Nariño to the Dapre. He went from being a few meters from the presidential office to being in a completely different building.
Later, that same rift, confirmed by various sources, was the reason for Ferrer's departure from the Executive Branch. There were controversies within the Presidential Council for Children and Adolescents regarding his administration, precisely because he was unaware of public policies on such a sensitive issue as the protection of the country's children and adolescents.
