  • The exact date of the 18th European Economic Congress (EEC) will be confirmed later this year.
  • Traditionally, the European Economic Congress will be preceded by the EEC Trends event, scheduled for the first half of February 2026 – a series of debates and presentations on the most important economic trends.
  • Over 90 percent of participants in this year's edition of the European Economic Congress declared that they would take part in the event next year.

The exact date of the 18th European Economic Congress (EEC) will be confirmed later this year . The PTWP Group declares that the three congress days will be scheduled in the penultimate week of April 2026.

Next year's Congress, like all previous ones, will bring together key decision-makers from the world of business, politics, science and administration , once again creating a space for debate on the most important economic, political, climate and social challenges.

" Intensive work on the next edition of the European Economic Congress began immediately after the conclusion of this year's edition . For us, this is a comprehensive project – not just three days of debates, but also a broad range of activities, meetings, initiatives, and accompanying events that run throughout the year. We are constantly developing the EEC Members community – regular meetings, discussions, and the conclusions drawn from them have a real impact on the shape and themes of the Congress . This ensures that the EEC remains a relevant and multidisciplinary forum for economic dialogue," says Wojciech Kuśpik, President of the PTWP Group, the initiator and organizer of the EEC.

Traditionally, the European Economic Congress will be preceded by the EEC Trends event, scheduled for the first half of February 2026. This series of debates and presentations will focus on key economic trends. Discussions from the February meeting in Warsaw provide a solid foundation for the annual agenda for the spring Congress in Katowice.

The vast majority of EEC 2025 participants declared that they would take part in this event next year.

The 18th Congress, as in previous editions, will address key topics related to geopolitics, energy transition, sustainable development, technological innovation, finance, investments, and the labor market. The organizers announce a continuation of the format combining debate, networking, and the promotion of innovative solutions.

This year's 17th edition of the European Economic Congress was record-breaking in many respects . It attracted 18,000 attendees (13,500 of whom attended) – business representatives, politicians, and experts. There were 1,300 speakers, 650 accredited journalists from 220 newsrooms, and 320 partners.

The three-day event, held under the slogan "Together for Security," featured over 200 thematic sessions and dozens of accompanying events. The EEC also showcased the new version of the CIS website.

Over 90 percent of attendees at this year's European Economic Congress declared they would attend the event again next year. Eighty-six percent of attendees and 90 percent of panelists expressed satisfaction with their participation in the 17th edition, which concluded a few weeks ago. 100 percent of panelists and 87 percent of attendees confirmed that a business meeting had taken place during the Congress.
