On the morning of Thursday, July 10, dozens of users reported problems with their Microsoft Outlook accounts on social media. Several of them reported that when they tried to access their email, the system indicated they did not have a valid license to use the service.
Following massive reports from users around the world, the portal responsible for monitoring the status of the Microsoft Office service reported that "users may not be able to access their mailbox using any connection method."

According to the portal, users are experiencing difficulties accessing the site using the following methods:

- Outlook Mobile
- Outlook desktop client
The technology company initially stated that it was conducting a verification process to ensure that "authentication components are configured correctly" because the causes of the problems were unknown.

As part of the update on the progress of the solution, according to Forbes Magazine , the company issued a statement: "We have determined the cause of the issue and have implemented a solution . We are closely monitoring its implementation and expect the issue to be gradually resolved as it progresses."
