A judge makes a move before Uribes, who only files complaints if Florentino Pérez asks him to.

A judge makes a move before Uribes, who only files complaints if Florentino Pérez asks him to.

As we reported in this newspaper more than a month and a half ago , and despite some muting it, on June 16 specifically, the Higher Sports Council (CSD) received a complaint from the vice president of the Professional Women's Football League (LPFF), Rubén Alcaine , in which he accused its president, Beatriz Álvarez , and the general director, Pablo Vilches , as "responsible for very serious infractions."

From a repeated violation of the LPFF Statutes , with overstepping his authority, fraud in the composition of the Assembly, and the illegal calling of a vote of no confidence against him , to an institutional blockage by suppressing the vice president's functions and a possible violation of institutional integrity. Once the aforementioned Assembly was held, Alcaine filed an extension of his complaint, as there were more votes than clubs present at the vote.

In this way, the Aragonese, previously the head of the Association of Women's Football Clubs (ACFF), asked the president of the CSD, the absent José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes , to forward his complaint to the Administrative Sports Tribunal (TAD), "so that the corresponding sanctioning procedure can be processed and a sanction be imposed on each of the accused, of disqualification from holding positions in the LPFF for two years."

"The usual procedure for any type of complaint is being followed and is being analyzed by the legal services," sources from the Higher Sports Council (CSD) assured El Confidencial a few days ago. It is true that they have three months to respond, so they are still within the deadline. However, they are more than halfway through, and with August still in the offing, everything indicates that, barring any surprises, they will not respond until September .

Movement in the Commercial Court No. 12 of Madrid

Furthermore, since Alcaine also filed a lawsuit before Commercial Court No. 12 of Madrid, it would not be surprising if the absent Uribes wanted to wait to see what the judge says . The lawsuit requests "the annulment of the resolution calling the General Assembly of the LPFF, considering that "essential principles of internal legality, institutional neutrality, and regulatory specialization are violated."

Unlike Uribes, the judge has already made her move. Thus, this Wednesday she summoned the parties to a hearing that will take place on Thursday, September 11, at 12:00 p.m. For now, the judge of Commercial Court No. 12 of Madrid will address the precautionary measures requested by Alcaine. By then, Uribes will be just a few days away from the three-month deadline he has to make a decision . Either way, he must respond when he is written to or called.

For less, the TAD publicly reprimanded Tebas

It's worth remembering that in September of last year, the Spanish Football Association (TAD) publicly reprimanded the LaLiga president , following the disciplinary proceedings opened against him two months earlier "for a very serious infraction" at the request of Rodríguez Uribes. According to Javier Tebas , "other people clearly had to have influenced him in pursuit of the Real Madrid president's objective, which is to prevent me from continuing." In other words, a clear reference to Florentino Pérez.

The reason for Tebas's complaint was that the meeting was called in August 2021 with eight days' notice, instead of the required ten days . This defect, if that weren't enough, was rectified by LaLiga, which called a new meeting, this time correctly, on December 10, 2021, where the commercial transaction between this organization and CVC was approved .

As can be seen, Rubén Alcaine's complaints against the president and general director of the LPFF are much more serious than Real Madrid's against the president of LaLiga. Furthermore, the Professional Women's Football League, whose management is more than questionable, is a project led by the CSD and subsidized with more than 40 million euros in public funds , so it should care much more.

The curious thing is that Javier Tebas is also behind this motion of censure against the vice president of the F League, so it seems that this move has not been seen by, not only by Uribes, who is neither here nor expected at the CSD, but by Florentino Perez himself . Of course, the president of Real Madrid is so little interested in women's football that he hasn't even given it any importance, and whoever could have warned him would clearly not have done so precisely for this reason.
