Atlético de Madrid's lineup against PSG in today's Club World Cup

A top-flight match for Atlético de Madrid in the opening round of their FIFA Club World Cup campaign. The Red and Whites face PSG , who were crowned European champions by sweeping Inter (5-0) in the final in Munich.
Just two weeks after winning their first Champions League title, Luis Enrique's team is back in action. Atleti have been out of competition for even longer , looking to make up for a poor end to the season in the 32-team tournament that debuts in the United States.
Because the truth is that Simeone's team was fighting for every title: in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, fighting head-to-head with Barça and Real Madrid in LaLiga EA Sports and directly qualified for the Champions League round of 16 (in which they lost to Madrid on penalties).
Along the way, in the Champions League, the Red and Whites and Parisians faced each other in the league stage of this season, with Atleti achieving an epic victory in the 93rd minute with a goal from Correa in a match in which PSG unsuccessfully besieged Oblak's goal. Compared to that match, there are more changes for the French champions than for Atleti, with Luis Enrique missing Marco Asensio, who started that day and was loaned out a few months later to Aston Villa.
PSG are also without Ousmane Dembélé , who suffered a muscle injury in the UEFA Nations League semi-final against Spain. Luis Enrique has the same players who shone against Inter, so no major changes are expected. Barcola , who played in the number 9 role in the second leg of the semi-final against Arsenal, or Gonçalo Ramos could replace the former Barça player.
At Atleti, Simeone should continue what has worked for him in recent La Liga matches, with Sørloth, who finished very inspired (four against Real Sociedad and a hat trick against Girona) and who also found the net for his national team, Norway, in the demanding match against Italy at the beginning of June.
