Chivas would have Milito tied up

The board of directors of Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara has reportedly concluded its search for a technical director, as it has already reached an agreement with Gabriel Milito, who, according to El Universal, will arrive with a one-year contract with the possibility of extending it for another year, depending on his results.
The Argentine is expected to be introduced next week, along with his five-person coaching staff, before immediately beginning a roster evaluation. He hopes to speak directly with those who will and won't have the opportunity to play with him.
Milito is a great fan of order. His teams tend to be attractive in their attacking style, he's obsessed with ball possession and is very disciplined; he's said to have a very strong character.
Javier Mier, Chivas' sporting director, will introduce the new coach and then decide who will lead the youth teams.
In the end he didn't want it.
Colombian Juan Carlos Osorio was one of Chivas' options to take over as head coach; however, negotiations took a turn for the worse because the former Xolos de Tijuana manager appears to be involved in an off-field situation.
He will not continue in the Flock
Guadalajara midfielder Fernando Beltrán is living out his final days as a Rojiblanco, as he is no longer part of the team's plans for the 2025 Apertura.
Despite having a one-year contract with Guadalajara, the board informed the youth player that he will not continue with the squad, so León is already in negotiations to secure his services.
The Bajío club is waiting for the player nicknamed "Nene" to accept the offer to find a replacement for Andrés Guardado, who retired at the end of the 2025 Clausura Tournament.
A historic figure is leaving
Rafael Carioca is leaving Tigres after eight years with the club, his representative confirmed in a statement on social media.
"A milestone in Rafael Carioca's career comes to an end after eight years of dedication to Tigres and Mexican soccer," reads the statement posted by Fabio Santanna on his official Instagram account.
