Getafe B and Numancia face off on their final occasion to secure the coveted promotion to the third tier of Spanish football. In the draw conducted by the Spanish Football Federation, both teams were paired to play one of the Segunda RFEF playoff rounds heading to the Primera RFEF . Twenty teams will be vying for the five spots that grant access to the third tier of Spanish football.

The pairings pit the second-placed teams against the fifth-placed teams, and the third-placed teams against the fourth-placed teams from the different groups.

In this tie, Numancia finished the regular season in second place in Group 1 of the Second Division, behind Pontevedra, one of the five teams that have directly advanced to the next division; while Getafe B finished fifth in Group 5.

The matches, both in the promotion phase and the relegation tournament, will be held over the next few weekends: the first leg on May 10 or 11; the second leg on May 17 or 18.

In the playoff for promotion to the First Federation, in the event of a tie in the combined goals of the first and second legs, a 30-minute extra time period will be played, divided into two 15-minute periods. If the score remains tied at the end of extra time, the team with the highest position in the regular season will be declared the winner.

The first leg between Getafe B and Numancia will be played this Sunday, May 11 at 11:30 .
