Jenni Hermoso and Misa Rodríguez are out of the Nations League.

Spain coach Montse Tomé announced her squad for the final two rounds of the Nations League, against Belgium and England, but clarified that it "is not final" with a view to the European Championship, which will be held in Switzerland from July 2 to 27.
The Spanish national team coach noted that the season isn't over and insisted there could still be some changes to the final squad. She hasn't even ruled out Real Madrid goalkeeper Misa Rodríguez and Tigres forward Jenni Hermoso for the top continental competition, as they have once again been left out of a Nations League squad.
The coach noted that both "are on the pre-list" and that she has considered them on occasion: "Since the Olympic Games, we've called up 36 players and used 31. We're not ruling out any of them. The difficult and the good thing is being able to choose from so many, and we hope to make the right choice," she said.
"It's not the final list. There are 25 players we'll be able to see and evaluate in this window, and only 23 will be able to come to the European Championship. But there are also others who could be there," Tomé declared from the press room at the RCDE Stadium, the venue for the final group stage match against England on June 3.
"In Lisbon, there will be a Champions League final where we'll have 12 players. In this Nations window, we'll make a different assessment, in the Queen's Cup final, and in the CONCACAF Cup semifinals, we'll make yet another one," he argued.
THE SUMMONEDThe 25 players called up by Tomé are: Cata Coll , Eunate Astralaga , Esther Sullastres (goalkeepers); Laia Aleixandri , Jana Fernández , Olga Carmona , Laia Codina , Sheila García , María Méndez , Leila Ouahabi , Ona Batlle , Irene Paredes (defenders); Alexia Putellas , Aitana Bonmatí , Vicky López , Maite Zubieta , Patri Guijarro (midfielders); Mariona Caldentey , Athenea del Castillo , Salma Paralluelo , Claudia Pina , Esther González , Cristina Martín-Prieto , Lucía García and Alba Redondo (forwards).
With these players, Spain will play for its place in the Nations League finals. The final two matches—which depend on its qualification—are against Belgium at Den Dreef Stadion on May 30, and England at RCD Stadium on June 3.
Tomé recalled that Spain's immediate objective is to qualify for the Nations League finals, "because the European Championship is still a long way off." France, with 12 points in Group A2, is the only team that has qualified for the semifinals. Spain, with 9 points, leads Group A3, so it's up to them to decide these last two matches, which the coach has warned "won't be easy."
MEETINGSThe first of these matches will be on May 30th at Leuven's Den Dreef Stadion against Belgium. Despite being the underdogs in the group, "they beat England in the last window," Tomé recalled. The Asturian also noted that, in the first match against the Belgians, Spain was losing in the 72nd minute "and we had to turn things around."
The second will be against England, on June 3 at RCD Stadium, Espanyol's home ground located between the Barcelona towns of Cornellà and El Prat de Llobregat. Tomé emphasized that, despite the English team's somewhat inconsistent performance in the Nations League, they are second in the group with 7 points, and "are a great team and a top-level team."
In this regard, Tomé stated that the women's national team will be playing "in Barcelona for the first time" and that this should be a "source of pride." "I want to encourage all of Catalonia, Barcelona, and Spain to come here to see a top-level match," said the Asturian coach, recalling that "Spain-England was the last World Cup final."
