Oscar Piastri led McLaren's 1-2 finish at the Miami GP

Oscar Piastri did it again. The young Australian driver achieved another victory that solidifies his lead in the Formula 1 championship, and once again the McLaren team dominated the field, securing a resounding 1-2 finish with Lando Norris in second place. Far behind them was George Russell in the Mercedes, who managed to prevail over Max Verstappen, who had a progressively slow race, losing ground throughout the 57 laps of the final race.
Norris was the leading contender for the win, but at the start of the race, he had a tight maneuver with Max Verstappen that cost him several positions early on. This favored Oscar Piastri, who took advantage of the situation to position himself as runner-up and launch an attack that intensified as the laps progressed. The Australian is definitely at a critical moment regarding his continued status as a starter.
Pierre Gasly did what he could. It wasn't a small feat, but the Frenchman's potential was unmatched, and throughout the race he managed to stay close to the top ten in the standings. The lap times showed that Gasly had to work hard to maintain a pace that, as the laps passed, became clearer and more difficult to control as the race reached its final stretch.
