Piastri dominates in Miami and leads the fight for the F1 title; McLaren scores a historic 1-2.

Australian driver Oscar Piastri reaffirmed his Formula 1 world title bid with a solid victory in the Miami Grand Prix, his fourth in six races this season. With this, the McLaren youngster made history by becoming the first McLaren driver to achieve three consecutive victories since Mika Hakkinen 28 years ago.
Piastri won a strategic and error-free race, taking the lead on lap 14 after an intense start by Max Verstappen and Lando Norris . From there, the Australian controlled the pace and resisted his teammate's closing pace in the closing laps.
McLaren celebrated a resounding 1-2 finish with Norris in second place, just 2.3 seconds behind, after a brilliant weekend in which he also won Saturday's sprint race. Despite losing positions on the opening lap after a failed overtake attempt on Verstappen —and accusing the Dutchman of forcing him off track— Norris managed to recover to score valuable points.

Verstappen , who celebrated the birth of his first child on Friday, appeared determined to quash rumors of a drop in performance as a first-time father. However, after losing the lead to Piastri , the three-time world champion failed to recover his pace and dropped to fourth, behind Mercedes ' George Russell , who completed the podium.
The top 10 was completed by Alex Albon (5th), Kimi Antonelli (6th), Charles Leclerc (7th), Lewis Hamilton (8th), Carlos Sainz Jr. (9th) and Yuki Tsunoda (10th) . Leclerc managed to overtake Hamilton in the closing stages thanks to a team order from Ferrari .
In contrast to McLaren 's success, the weekend was disastrous for Jack Doohan . The Alpine rookie crashed on the first and second laps, fueling rumours of his imminent replacement by Argentinian Franco Colapinto . Although team boss Oliver Oakes denied any immediate changes, the pressure on the Australian is mounting ahead of the next race at Imola .
With this victory, Piastri extends his championship lead and McLaren confirms its return to the F1 spotlight. The title battle is more alive than ever.
