Rafa Nadal criticizes Carlos Alcaraz's documentary on his parties: "It's not true; he's a great professional."

Former tennis player Rafa Nadal has expressed his opposition to the approach taken inCarlos Alcaraz 's documentary, which focuses on the Murcian's career and in which he himself participates. He believes that "it does not reflect the way he lives his career" since more importance than expected is given to the festivals and his way of life.
He made these comments in an interview with the French newspaper L'Equipe ahead of the grand tribute he will receive on May 25 at the Phillipe Chatrier Stadium.
"Knowing Carlos a little, I think the documentary doesn't reflect his personality or the way he lives his career. He doesn't come across as a tennis player who trains , but as someone who loves to party, who needs that, who isn't very professional. And that's not true. Carlos is a great professional," she said of the young tennis player whom she faced on several occasions and with whom she shared the court in the doubles at the Paris Games before his retirement.
"He's a person who works very hard to take his tennis and his physique to the highest level. I think the documentary was approached in the wrong way , because people's perceptions of him are different from what his real life is like," he concludes.
Nadal would put his hand in the fire for SinnerIn addition to his retirement, the Manacor native also spoke about the controversial Sinner case in the interview given to the aforementioned media outlet: "I've said it several times: I'm totally convinced that Jannik never wanted to cheat or do anything illegal. I'm sure, I'd put my hand in the fire for that . For him, I think he lived through a nightmare for a year. And, obviously, for tennis, these kinds of things are negative. Afterwards, if you start to doubt everything in life, you can question everything," he reiterated.
Words of support to which he added: "I don't like to give my opinion on things I don't know about. So I understand that when justice makes decisions, it's because it has all the necessary information that we don't have . I really don't think that, because he's world number 1, Jannik has been treated differently.
