Sabadell vs. Eibar B: Schedule, TV channel, and where to watch today's Segunda RFEF playoff match online.
The playoffs for promotion to the First Division of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have already been finalized. Twenty teams will fight for the five available spots to advance to the third tier of Spanish football. They will do so after a regular season in which Pontevedra, Arenas de Getxo, Europa, Juventud Torremolinos, and Guadalajara achieved direct promotion.
The format pits the second-placed teams against the fifth-placed teams, and the third-placed teams against the fourth-placed teams, always between teams from different groups. In total, ten ties have been drawn, with only the winners remaining in the fight for promotion. The first leg is this weekend (May 10 and 11) and the second leg will be played in seven days (May 17 and 18). A second and final round will follow later.
One of the most attractive matches of this first phase is the one between Sabadell and Eibar B. The Harlequins arrive after a turbulent season in Group 3, but with a late surge that has restored their hope. Facing them is Eibar's reserve team, which surprised in Group 2 with a young, daring, and well-trained squad.
The match between Sabadell and Eibar B will be played on Sunday, May 11, at 7:45 p.m. at the Nova Creu Alta stadium. All playoff matches can be watched live on FEF TV, the official platform of the Spanish Football Federation, which has already offered coverage throughout the season. Broadcasts may also be made on regional channels such as TV3, Canal Sur, IB3, or TVG, depending on the origin of the teams involved.
