Saltillo prepares for the grand final of the 2025 World Archery Mexico Championship

After three days of intense competition and high participation, the capital of Coahuila is preparing for the finals, awards ceremony, and official closing ceremony of the 2025 World Archery Mexico Championship , this Sunday, July 27, starting at 9:00 a.m., on the esplanade of Las Maravillas Park.

Mayor Javier Díaz González invited the public to attend and participate in this closing ceremony, which celebrates the talent and efforts of more than 200 archers from different parts of the country, who have competed in the under-18, under-21, and senior categories, in recurve and compound bows.

"It will be a very special ceremony, not only because of the quality of the event, but because it confirms Saltillo as a national benchmark for hosting top-level sporting competitions," the mayor said.

The finals will be from 9:00 to 11:00 for compound and from 12:30 to 14:20 for recurve.

The closing ceremony and awards ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m., with the presence of municipal and state authorities, as well as representatives from World Archery Mexico. Recognitions will be given to the winners, who will be part of the team that will represent Mexico in international competitions.

Admission will be completely free to the public, which seeks to bring the community closer to the sport of archery and celebrate with the family an event that has raised the name of Saltillo .
